Chief Financial Officer

Knock Technology is a UK tech startup with an innovative new remote telecoms product. The company is just nine months old and has a working prototype. It is now seeking its first round of investment and requires a chief finance officer to help navigate these early stages of growth.

The ideal candidate will have a history of experience in starting businesses and a passion for excellent user experience in tech product design.

Responsibilities include fundraising strategy, financial planning and analysis, financial reports, audits, compliance and bank relationships. Expect collaboration with the CEO and executive team to make decisions regarding the company's financial strategy and operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with pre-seed / series A fundraising efforts

• Create and present financial and tax strategy recommendations to the CEO

• Support the financial planning and analysis efforts

• Oversee cash flow, cash management, working capital, and company audits

• Prepare financial statements and reports

• Ensure legal compliance on all financial functions

• Manage relationships with banks

Qualifications

• Strong finance-based analytical skills

• 10+ years of experience in tech & finance roles

• CPA or MBA preferred but not required
